In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Pakistan has made the immediate decision to send humanitarian aid to the region, with the goal of alleviating the Palestinian people’s suffering.

Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaarul Haq Kakar, has called for a ceasefire and the lifting of the blockade of Gaza.
He emphasized Pakistan’s unflinching solidarity for the oppressed Palestinian people and condemned Israel’s disproportionate targeting of civilians, underlining that such acts are illegal under international law.
Further, PM Kakar highlighted the need of viewing the violence in the perspective of Israel’s long-standing occupation of Palestinian areas and its harsh policies towards the Palestinian people.
He urged the UN and the international community to act quickly to construct secure and unhindered humanitarian corridors for transporting desperately needed relief supplies to beleaguered Gaza.
Pakistan is also collaborating closely with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and its member to address Gaza’s deteriorating condition.
Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will attend an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Executive Committee, where he will ask for immediate action to alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza.
