As excitement grows for the upcoming Test series against Australia, the Pakistan cricket team prepares to depart for Sydney, Australia, on November 30, 2023. The difficult series will put the Green Shirts to the test under Australian conditions.
The 18-man Pakistan Cricket Team is schedule to depart Pakistan at 3:00 a.m. local time on their way to Sydney. The team gets a little respite at the airport before continuing on to Canberra.
The team is due to play a four-day match against Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra from December 6-9.
The squad has completed four days of intense training in Rawalpindi ahead of their departure. After taking today off, the players will start their preparations on Tuesday.
The team will subsequently go to NCA Lahore for extra training, with sessions set from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
Following the Lahore training camp, Team Director Mohammad Hafeez will address the media, offering details on the team’s preparations and strategies for the next series.
Pakistan returns to Australia for the first time since 2019, when they lost by an innings in both matches.
Notably, Pakistan has never won a Test series in Australia, adding another dimension of significance to this difficult campaign.
