The Saudi Esports Federation recently hosted the Gamers8 Tekken 7 Nations Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. From July 6 to 9, 16 national teams from across the world competed for a whopping $1 million prize fund in this exhilarating international competition. Among the competitors, a Pakistani videogaming trio displayed exceptional talents and won the grand finals with a 3-2 triumph against South Korea.
The Pakistani team, comprised of Arslan “Ash” Siddique, Atif Butt, and Imran Khan, excelled throughout the competition, leaving their imprint on the worldwide Tekken 7 arena. After a hard-fought semi-final victory against the United Kingdom (2-1), the three squared battle against South Korea in the upper-bracket final. They scored a resounding 3-0 victory with an outstanding effort, setting the stage for an exciting final encounter.

Earlier this year, Arslan “Ash” Siddique won the Tekken 7 competition at EVO Japan 2023, cementing his status as a great Tekken player. Siddique made major success in 2019 by winning the Tekken 7 tournament in Japan and the Evolution Championship Series in the United States.
Atif Butt, also played a crucial role in their victory in the Gamers8 Tekken 7 Nations Cup. Butt was just crowned “King of the Iron Fist” after winning the Tekken World Tour 2022 videogame event in Amsterdam, Netherlands. His devotion and talent have driven him to the top of the Tekken competitive scene, garnering him the admiration of fellow gamers and fans all around the world.
