Marwat expressed his gratefulness for the faith placed in him by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
He expressed his determination to work hard in his new capacity, highlighting the drive obtained from the duties bestowed upon him.

During his representation of Imran Khan in the Toshakhana trial, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat cemented his ties with the PTI head. During the trial, his prominent presence came to light when he strongly challenged trial court judge Humayun Dilawar.
This resulted in his appointment to the PTI core committee, demonstrating the party’s appreciation for his hard work.
PTI experienced important appointments earlier this year, with characters such as Qasim Suri, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, and Saifullah Abro assuming the role of Senior Vice Presidents.
It is worth noting that Sher Afzal Khan Marwat experienced legal difficulties in October when a complaint filed against him for suspected social media actions that were interpreted as inciting the public against governmental institutions.
Sections 120-B (punishment for criminal conspiracy) and 153-A (promoting hatred between different groups) of the Pakistan Penal Code served as basis in the allegations.
