US and Canadian teams are rescuing stranded individuals on a submarine. On Sunday at approximately 4 am, a submarine owned and operated by OceanGate Expeditions embarked on a mission to take a crew of five individuals 12,500 ft underwater. Unfortunately, the team experienced communication issues with the mothership MV Polar Prince during the two-hour descent, losing contact after only an hour and 45 minutes.

According to submarine experts, the best method for rescuing people in deep waters is through the use of a remotely operated vehicle capable of reaching depths up to 20,000 feet.
