India vs Pakistan Match Rescheduled:
ICC World Cup 2023’s highly-anticipated India vs Pakistan match has been moved from October 15th to October 14th. In this high-stakes match, the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will remain the venue.
Reasons Behind Changes
Jay Shah, BCCI secretary, acknowledged receiving requests from more than ten ICC member boards to modify the schedule following consultations with the ten staging associations. There were no security concerns involved in the India-Pakistan match that prompted these changes.

ICC World Cup 2023 Additional Changes
Aside from the India-Pakistan match, eight other World Cup fixtures have been adjusted. The final group-stage match between India and the Netherlands has been shifted to November 12th in Bengaluru.
World Cup Venue and Semifinal Unaffected:
While these changes affect several matches, the venue, timing, and dates for the World Cup semifinals and final remain the same. The first semifinal will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 15th, followed by the second semifinal at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 16th. On November 19, Ahmedabad will host the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 grand finale.
