Sri Lanka announced their squad for the first Test against Pakistan
The first Test between Pakistan vs Sri Lanka is scheduled to take place in Galle on July 16
Roshan Ranasinghe, the Sri Lankan Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, approved the squad.
Selectors have opted to exclude left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya and replace him with Praveen Jayawickrama, putting Ramesh Mendis and Prabath Jayasuriya in charge of the spin attack.
In the absence of Asitha Fernando, left-arm seamer Dilshan Madushanka has been selected.
