In the Historic Achievement, the Pakistan women’s cricket team won the series against New Zealand by defeating the Kiwis in the second T20 International game in Dunedin. This is the women’s team’s first series victory outside of Asia and Ireland, as well as their first series win away from home since 2018.

The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team had already created history by wining 1st T20I by seven wickets, claiming first win against New Zealand in T20I.
Aliya Riaz, awarded as the Player of the match , as she contributed an unbeaten 32 runs off 22 balls to establish a score of 137 for the loss of six wickets. Muneeba Ali Siddiqi, the wicketkeeper batter, scored 35, Bismah Maroof (21) and skipper Nida Dar (14) played a important role in posting a target.

In response, New Zealand scored 127 at the University of Otago Oval, falling 10 runs short. Hannah Rowe and Georgia Plimmer scored 33 and 28 respectively but can not help to chase target. Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal proved instrumental, with Sana capturing three wickets for 22 runs.
Meanwhile, Zaka Ashraf, chairman of the PCB, praised the squad on their “remarkable achievement” and scheduled a special celebration to honor the players upon their return from the New Zealand tour.
